This Balvenie expression is crafted from a skillful marriage of seven casks, each over 50 years in age with varying tastes and strengths, carefully chosen by master distiller David Stewart MBE. The result is a limited release of just 148 bottles, each beautifully presented in a wooden tube made with 50 layers – 48 of wood and two of brass, representing the whisky’s remarkable half-century journey.

NOSE

Rich fruitcake notes layered with elegant oak, accompanied by sweet aromas of dried fruits, raisins, and sultanas, and a hint of ginger spice.

PALATE

Rich and lush, with hints of bitter chocolate and bold spice, harmonizing with sweetness of maple syrup, citrus zing and oak tannins.

FINISH

Rich, mouth-coating finish with lingering sweetness and oaky spice notes.
