A remarkable aged single malt matured in a blend of ex-bourbon and sherry casks and bottled at the height of its powers, this signature release of Glenrothes is exquisitely resinous and rich in sweetness, true to the Glenrothes style. With only 594 bottles ever produced, each one is individually numbered, making it a rare and distinguished release.
The nose opens with enticing aromas of baked apricots, vanilla, and candied orange peel, complemented by marzipan and sweet oaky undertones.
The whisky reveals the richness of Genoa fruit cake, laden with plump sultanas and a creamy vanilla sweetness. Once again, the zesty kick of candied orange peel and spice comes through.
A rich and sweet finish marked by a lingering orange fragrance, a touch of spice and oakiness.
