Hennessy X.O is the original, emblematic icon of the Hennessy Maison, first bottled in 1870 by Maurice Hennessy for family and friends. The term “XO,” short for “extra old,” was coined for this very Cognac, reflecting its extended aging process. This blend is crafted from over 100 eaux-de-vie sourced from the Grande and Petite Champagne, Borderies, and Fins Bois regions. These eaux-de-vie are aged in young barrels and distinguished by their power and energy, while their ability to develop great roundness over time defines their exceptional character.

Presented here in an impressive Jeroboam-sized bottle.

NOSE

The initial wave is filled with fruity aromas of prunes and dried figs. These give way to rich notes of chocolate and black pepper, mellowed by touches of cinnamon, clove, and cardamom.

PALATE

The aromas on the nose carry through to the palate. Elegant yet robust, it reveals a harmonious blend of roundness and depth, complemented by peppery notes and subtle vegetal nuances from the oak.

FINISH

The long, velvety aftertaste lingers, leaving a gentle sweetness of vanilla and cinnamon.
