Kicking off the Springbank Sherry Wood series, this 10-year-old whisky embarks on an exploration of various sherry cask styles. Distilled in 2012, it spent seven years in bourbon barrels before finishing in first-fill Pedro Ximénez hogsheads for three years, lending its sherried goodness to the classic Springbank character.

NOSE

Rich sherry influence with dates and raisins.

PALATE

Tannic and spicy, with sherry-soaked fruits, cinnamon, and caramel. Springbank’s signature oiliness and damp earthy notes perfectly balance the strong PX cask influence.

FINISH

The tannic notes linger, with notes of sultanas and spices taking over the finish.
