Debuting in 2024, The GlenAllachie 35 Year Old marks a significant milestone as the distillery’s oldest official release to date, matured in a selection of casks holding whisky dating back to 1989. Pedro Ximénez hogsheads impart a luscious sweetness with notes of poached plum, muscovado sugar, and heather honey, while virgin oak casks unveil spices such as cloves, treacle, and nutmeg. The profile is elegantly rounded by the nutty richness of Oloroso, offering hints of cinnamon, dried red berries, dark chocolate, and nutmeg.

Housed in a lavish hand-carved oak box, this whisky comes with a booklet featuring handwritten notes from GlenAllachie’s master distiller, who offers his insights into the cask selection and the fascinating story behind this exceptional release.

NOSE

Waves of mocha, cinnamon, heather honey, and pineapple are accompanied by hints of raisins, pomegranate, and eucalyptus.

PALATE

Layers of dark chocolate, mocha, and dried fruit blend with heather honey, treacle, and pineapple, accented by hints of cinnamon, nutmeg, and cloves.
