A revelation for those fortunate enough to secure a bottle, River Spey is the second edition in The Macallan Home Collection released in 2024. The packaging features stunning artwork by artist Michelle Lucking, celebrating the natural beauty of The Macallan’s birthplace and the River Spey. Winding through their 485-acre estate, the River Spey has long inspired the distillery and plays a vital role in the whisky-making process.

NOSE

Inviting aromas of raisin and sultana, complemented by the warmth of cinnamon and the smooth sweetness of vanilla.

PALATE

Velvety butterscotch greets the palate, followed by the familiar sweetness of sultana. The richness of toasted oak adds depth, while notes of chocolate, nutmeg and nutmeg provide warmth and spice.

FINISH

The finish is medium in length, with the toasted oak lingering alongside a touch of spice.
