This quality single cask bottling from the Highland distillery of Clynelish is a prized addition to the Xtra Old Particular collection from independent bottler Douglas Laing. Distilled in 1996 and matured for 25 years in a single refill butt, it was opened in 2022, yielding just 487 bottles and bottled at a cask strength of 55.1% ABV.

NOSE

Sweet nose of candied apples and sticky dates, complemented by rich warm spices.

PALATE

The rich palate is filled with notes of dark chocolate, citrus, honeyed barley, and a hint of cloves and nutmeg.

FINISH

The finish unfolds with a smooth, waxy texture, revealing ripe red fruits and a gentle touch of pepper.
