The “Archival Series” from Macallan is a limited edition collection that revisits the brand’s advertising styles from the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s. Folio 6, the sixth release in the series, honors a clever and humorous advert featuring ‘The Chairman’ – a Scotsman performing the Highland fling over a pen and brush, symbols of the advertising team of Holmes and Salaman. Presented in a tin shaped like a large book, this release blends nostalgia, artistry, and exceptional whisky in one remarkable package.

NOSE

Orange and ginger gives way to poached pear and vanilla, complemented by cinnamon and nutmeg. Fresh oak with a subtle hint of chocolate rounds out the profile.

PALATE

Bright notes of orange and sweet sultana blend with a warming touch of ginger, gradually leading to the smooth richness of milk chocolate.

FINISH

The warmth of ginger lingers long in the finish, offering a comforting, fading spice.
