Suntory’s flagship single malt, Yamazaki, is a masterful blend aged in American, Spanish, and Japanese Mizunara oak, with about 80% matured in sherry butts. The result is a complex profile balancing sherried fruitiness with incense-like sandalwood aromas from Mizunara oak. Among its exceptional offerings is the launch of the reformulated Yamazaki 25 Year Single Malt in 2021, a decadently rich whisky aged for over a quarter of a century.

NOSE

Smoked incense aromas from Mizunara paired with oaky spice, followed by a complex bouquet of persimmon and ume plum.

PALATE

The first sip reveals gentle smoke infused with Mizunara sandalwood, gradually unfolding subtle persimmon sweetness and fresh ginger spice.

FINISH

A long, profound finish with lingering smokiness and oakiness.
